Gun Barrels Hard Chrome Plating
Chrome plating of gun barrel is an essential feature in the manufacturing of conventional arms and ammunitions. It enhances the life of the barrel multifold. - The process is used to deposit a suitable hard chrome layer on the inner wall of the barrel cylinder. The geometry of the object, and the stringent control on thickness of plating, calls for a very specialized system approach. The diameter and the length of the barrel, play a very critical role in determining the design of the plating system.
